Job Costing is located in ComputerEase's Job Center where it can be viewed quickly and easily. ComputerEase provides a number of powerful Job Costing Reports so that you can monitor the status and profitability of jobs from beginning to end.

Job Costing Examples

Work in Progress - Where are your resources being used
Projected Cost - Is your project on target with estimates
Labor Analysis - Are your labor hours on target with your estimate
Unit Production - Are you completing work at the rate you estimated

Electronic Job Folder

The Job Folder provides one location to store all pertinent information and files related to the project. Photos, contracts, emails, daily logs, time sheets, and more can be stored for easy access. Access can be limited or given to key players to improve communications and increase your team's productivity.

Job Costing and the Trouble Shooter

Do you find out too late that your jobs are over budget or past deadlines? ComputerEase's Trouble Shooter helps solve these problems. Developed by ComputerEase from customer feedback, Trouble Shooter is a project management tool that helps you discover what is going right or wrong with your jobs.

Over 200 potential problems are tracked and analyzed by Trouble Shooter to help keep project costs on on budget and on time. Trouble Shooter gives you the power to make it fast and easy, saving time and allowing you to focus on areas where you can make more money.

FieldEase

The optional FieldEase component allows field employees like project managers or site managers to access ComputerEase's essential construction project management and accounting tools remotely, on site locations. FieldEase provides employees critical job costing data without costly trips back and forth between the office and job sites.

And the way ComputerEase is set up, when you set a budget item up, you can track both the lump sum amount for each of your cost types and you can also see what the related unit cost is for that. So it does a wonderful job, better than almost any system I’ve ever seen, on tracking unit cost information.
