Contractor Tools for Your Bottom Line.

Easy Service Contract Management

Service contract management departments require specialized labor resources to function but often do not produce an equivalent amount of income. Due to the irregularity of need, valuable resources are often sitting idle while their counterparts on other jobs are pushed to meet deadlines. Balancing skilled labor effectively throughout the entire company is not an easy task.

Service contracts can significantly improve a service department's profits, because they provide regular work when service call volume is low.

Managing service contracts can be time consuming. Tracking every contract to the work it entails and ensuring the resources are allocated to perform all the scheduled, required maintenance work effectively can be a challenge.

ComputerEase makes managing service contracts easy. All the service contracts sold are entered right into ComputerEase and the system will automatically highlight all upcoming work. On days when service calls are light technicians can be sent on other jobs so they are busy improving your service department's bottom line rather than sitting idle.

Between the time of dispatch, the signature captures, back to me for invoicing and then onto accounting for uhm.. invoicing is- is, I mean it can be done in the same day, you know, from- from conception or inception I should say, all the way to into the actual billings where it speeds up everything, the billing and everything.

Uh, the functionality inside of QuickBooks is you have to tell it what class that cost goes to. So I can’t set up a project or a job inside of QuickBooks and it automatically goes to that class. I have know every time I put in a bill or every time I put in an invoice or accounts payable, I’ve got to make sure that I’ve coded that to the proper class. The difference inside of ComputerEase is that I can set up master jobs, if you will, and now I can have all my service jobs, automatically, the billings and the costs, all get posted to the department of service via the job set up. So my bookkeepers uh, or my client’s bookkeepers then do no need to always remember, oh, was that a service job? I’ve got to make sure I put that to service.01 or service.02, all that is done by the job set up, and that dictates where those costs are going.
